Mission
The Mission of Museum Cafe is to inspire and encourage the collective intellectual exchange among individuals genuinely interested in the museal institutions of the Greater San Diego area.

In other words, what is Museum Café?
Similar to a Book Club, instead of reading books we visit Exhibitions.
Every other month or so, we visit an assigned local exhibition (San Diego area), then mingle and discuss its particularities with other Museum Café members (usually in front of a coffee, tea or a glass of wine).
Each meeting should lead to discussions pertaining to problems museums are currently facing, i.e. development, curatorial, education,…

Who Can Join?
The forum is open to those who identify themselves as Emerging Museum Professionals (EMP), who work for or with museums, art galleries and/or are studying Museology.
